Because He lives I can face tomorrow. Because He lives all fear is gone. Because I know He holds the future. Life is worth the living just because He lives!

The Name of My Blog

Hello all,

I wanted to take a moment and explain the name and title of my blog.

I'm sure most of you have heard the song "Because He Lives" countless times before. And I'm sure you've all fumbled over hymnal pages trying to find "number 264" a dozen times or so. I know you've all sung the words in church and choir. But have you ever stoped to really hear what the words are saying?

Everytime I hear that song sung I'm reminded that no matter how tough life gets "I can face tomorrow" hence the name of my blog. And why, my friends, can I face tomorrow? Because HE Lives.

Please take a moment and read over these lyrics. This song is my absolute favorite hymn. Hearing it sung or singing it myself really does help me through hard times. It seems as though every word of that song was written just for me.

BECAUSE HE LIVES
Writer Bill Gaither

God Sent His Son, They Called Him Jesus;
He Came To Love, Heal And Forgive.
He Lived And Died To Buy My Pardon;
An Empty Grave Is There To Prove My Savior Lives.

Chorus:
Because He Lives
I Can Face Tomorrow
Because He Lives
All Fear Is Gone
Because I Know He Holds The Future
And Life Is Worth The Living
Just Because He Lives

How Sweet To Hold A Newborn Baby,
And Feel The Pride And Joy He Gives;
But Greater Still The Calm Assurance:
This Child Can Face Uncertain Day Because He Lives.

Chorus:
Because He Lives
I Can Face Tomorrow
Because He Lives
All Fear Is Gone
Because I Know He Holds The Future
And Life Is Worth The Living
Just Because He Lives

And Then One Day I'll Cross The River;
I'll Fight Life's Final War With Pain.
And Then, As Death Gives Way To Vict'ry,
I'll See The Lights Of Glory And I'll Know He Reigns.

Chorus:
Because He Lives
I Can Face Tomorrow
Because He Lives
All Fear Is Gone
Because I Know He Holds The Future
And Life Is Worth The Living
Just Because He Lives

Until next time,
Juliana.
